Challenge: To create a trailer for a feature documentary that honored Christopher Reeve’s legacy while introducing his story to a new generation. The goal was to celebrate both the myth and the man - the timeless symbol of Superman and the real-life hero who inspired millions through his courage, tireless advocacy, and unyielding hope - while also organically teeing up the excitement surrounding James Gunn’s upcoming Superman reboot.

Solution: The trailer was told almost entirely through Christopher Reeve’s own voice with his reflections, interviews, and speeches forming the emotional spine of the piece. 

Iconic Superman imagery and rare archival footage were intercut with deeply personal moments, revealing the man behind the cape and his journey from actor to advocate. Appearances from close friends like Robin Williams and Glenn Close provided context and warmth, amplifying the authenticity of Reeve’s story in his own words.

Results: A moving and cinematic trailer that reintroduced audiences to Reeve’s story in a powerful new way. It connected across generations, celebrated his lasting influence, and set the emotional foundation for a successful, multi-platform 360 campaign. LUSSIER delivered Trailer, TV, Print, and Paid Social executions, all designed to reignite love for the Man of Steel ahead of his next cinematic chapter.
